Having spent late nights in her painter father’s studio as a child listening to the timeless records of Nelly Furtado, Amy Winehouse, Norah Jones, and Gnarls Barkley, Giovanna was encouraged to nurture her zeal for singing and songwriting early on.

Finding varied avenues for music in her formative years, from choir to youth group worship, Giovanna went on to continue performing as the University of Florida's jazz band vocalist.

From releasing covers to Jorja Smith & Preditah's "On My Mind" and SWV's "Rain" to releasing her first record recorded in her university dorm room on SoundCloud back in 2019, Giovanna has stayed consistent with her musical progression over the coming years, though releasing very little music publicly.

Following graduation, Giovanna began to actualize her dreams of becoming a respected music artist, which took her to New York and landed her in Los Angeles by 2021.

Beyond the music, Giovanna takes pride in being a woman of color rooted in her faith. Her bright and loving personality mixed with her authentic style are just some of the things that captivate all who cross her path.
